About the club
Poker, properly run
Amsterdam Poker Club is a student association for people who like the game: the maths, the reads and the table talk.
What we do
We run tournaments through the academic year, with a real clock, a published blind structure and random seating. Results feed a season leaderboard, so every event counts. Between tournaments, members can work through tutorials written by players in the club.
Who can join
Every student at a Dutch university or university of applied sciences. You register with any email address and confirm your student status with your university email. Alumni and friends of the club can be invited as guests by the board.
Play responsibly
The club is about skill and community. Tournaments are run as social events. If poker ever stops being fun, talk to a board member, or visit Loket Kansspel for free, confidential help.
